Happy Birthday to a most generous mother! Each person believes they have the best mother and it is true! You have the best mother for you! I just want to let everyone know why my mother is amazing! Yes, she IS amazing! She has done so much for my family! Mom loves her children with an endearing love. She will do anything for her children, nieces, and nephews! Mom is my best friend right next to Matt ;) Which is funny because she use to ask me why I dated other guys and not Matt! I told Mom Matt was too much of a brother to me...and look where that has landed me! Mom always knew what my choices would be or what I needed no matter what! I remember she would call at the most perfect timing whether I needed to vent or cry.

I remember in college being so busy and overwhelmed sitting on my bed frustrated and trying hard not to break down and just get through the day. Mom called and after saying hello she asked what was wrong. I said nothing (Obviously trying to prove my independence and not needing to rely on her). Well she was not fooled. Mom asked again what was wrong. I could not hold it anymore and started to tear up. Mom use to tell me "Mom's know everything!" To this day I still believe it is true! Mom let me have my cry and would straighten me out!
I may not be able to call her on the phone to talk, ask a question, or share my day with her. We may not be able to get turtle cheesecake, cream puff, flavored water, and watch Kate & Leopold. We may not start cleaning at 2:00 in the morning just because! Although there are many things I miss, there is one thing I am extremely grateful for: being sealed to my family for ALL TIME AND ETERNITY!
It is the greatest gift I have come to cherish more than words can express! And at times I still feel her presence and her love surround me! Christmas is one of Mom's favorite holidays! Every year the day after Thanksgiving we would decorate the house and be playing Christmas music for the rest of the season! Her favorite, which have now become mine, were snowman and candy cane colors! This year Matthew and I are blessed to have two trees in our home. And after much anticipation I received my mother's ornaments we worked on one year and many other treasures!
I made the snowflake at a Relief Society activity and it works perfectly with the theme!
Yes it is hard but I could not be more grateful for the precious time I got to have with her! And I will see her again! Until that day she will always be in my heart and home! I love you Mother, Happy Birthday!
